A healthy and cheesy quiche packed with nutritious broccoli.
Ingredients:
1 pre-made pie crust
1 ½ cups broccoli (chopped)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Roll out and blind bake the pie crust for 10 minutes, then set aside.
Steam or blanch broccoli for 2 minutes, then drain.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Spread broccoli and cheddar cheese evenly over the crust.
Pour the egg mixture on top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Tip: Add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
