Flourless Chocolate Cake (Diet-Friendly & Gluten-Free)
Ingredients:
– 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
– 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
– 3 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)
– 3 large eggs
– ΒΌ cup honey or a sugar substitute (like erythritol or stevia)
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– ΒΌ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
– Set your oven to 175Β°C (350Β°F).
– Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Melt the Chocolate:
– In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil over a double boiler (or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between).
3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
– In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, honey (or sugar substitute), vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
4. Combine:
– Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the egg mixture while whisking.
– Sift in the cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
5. Bake:
– Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
– Bake for **20-25 minutes** or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
6. Cool & Serve:
– Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
– Dust with cocoa powder or serve with fresh berries.
