Ingredients:
1 baguette or Italian bread
3 tbsp butter (melted)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
½ cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
½ tsp salt (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. If the loaf is too thick, make shallow cuts for better absorption of flavors.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
Spread the mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
Place the bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Let it cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Tip: For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes before serving.
